Riverside Township extends our deepest gratitude to the community for this most generous season of giving. Many have stepped forward with checks to the Riverside Township Food Pantry, and many others have dropped off shelf-stable foods in our drop box in the main hallway of the Town Hall at 27 Riverside Road in Riverside.
Every day, people bring in a bag or more of canned goods. The students at Hauser Junior High have continued to come every month with cases of food, while other generous, anonymous donors have left cases of food and bags of paper goods for the pantry. The need for help with food insecurity has never been greater than during this pandemic, and you have stepped forward to assist the Township in our service to the vulnerable residents of our community. Thank you from the Township Board and Staff for your generosity.
Any resident of Riverside Township (bordered by Harlem on the East, Cermak on the North, 9th Avenue on the West and 39th on the South) who needs help with sustenance can call us at 708- 442-4400 to let us know in advance you are coming. Residents may get 2 pre-packed tote bags per month, no questions asked except residency.
