On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Riverside Township Mental Health Board celebrated their 50th Anniversary by hosting a free, public event at the Town Hall. The event showcased many of the area agencies that the Mental Health Board supports in the community through local tax dollars. Guest lecturers were featured from each of the various supported organizations to discuss the services they provide and how they assist residents with mental health-related issues, housing assistance, substance abuse and addiction, medical, aging needs, special needs, and general wellness services.
