The Riverside Township is proud to announce they have awarded a Grant in the amount of $1,000 to the Little Food Pantry at the Riverside Presbyterian Church.
With a Grant awarded on August 6, 2019, the Township purchased $1,000 worth of Aldi gift cards for Pantry organizers to purchase food items. The church’s Little Food Pantry started in the fall of 2017 and demand has grown so much they can no longer sustain it by donations alone.
About the Little Food Pantry:
The Little Food Pantry is a wooden cabinet outside the entrance to Riverside Presbyterian Church, stocked with non-perishable food and personal care items. It is available to anyone at anytime. The Little Food Pantry was featured in a Landmark news article in June.
