Riverside Township will be hosting a community program on the subject of “Senior Fraud and Common Scams” on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The program is FREE to all and will begin at 10:00 am in the 2nd floor auditorium of the Riverside Town Hall, 27 Riverside Road.
A representative from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and Riverside Police Officer Daniel Marrello will be on hand to speak to senior citizens about the increase of scammers targeting the elderly and how seniors can spot the warning signs in order to better protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud. Light refreshments will be served.
