The Riverside Township Mental Health Board, in conjunction with Riverside Township, sponsored a presentation this past June on the topic of Anxiety, Depression, and Caring for a Loved One During The COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond. The presentation was recorded without an audience and in compliance with all mandated health & safety procedures at that time.
This video presentation was recorded and produced with the help of Riverside TV, and is the 4th presentation in a series on mental health topics that are meant to create awareness and provide tools to deal with personal, family, and community mental health issues and crises.
This video is Part 1 on the subject of the Mental Health Implications of Caregiving, focusing primarily on caregiving for children and adolescents. Part 2 of this subject will be upcoming this Fall.
All participating agencies are funded in part by the Riverside Township Mental Health Board. Featured guest speakers are from a wide range of area agencies, such as: Helping Hand Center, UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago, West Suburban Special Recreation Association, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Pillars, The Way Back Inn / The Grateful House, and Aging Care Connections.
Additionally, The Riverside Township Mental Health Board has established a Community Resource Center at the Riverside Town Hall.
