Riverside Township will kick off the celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary by rededicating the “Swinging Bridge” to the residents of the Township on Friday, May 15th. A reception will immediately follow in the Town Hall auditorium, first with a performance by the Riverside Brookfield High School jazz ensemble and then ending with a special presentation by the Riverside Township Radio Players. The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm at the Bridge; see you all there!
The Riverside Township Mental Health Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (with the exception of July, August and December) at the Riverside Town Hall, 27 Riverside Road, Riverside, Illinois (unless otherwise noted below), at the hour of 6:30 p.m. The Mental Health Board will host a Nominating Committee Meeting at 6:00pm on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Riverside Town Hall in the Community Resource Center.
