The Riverside Township Food Pantry is in need of donations! Due to federal cuts to SNAP benefits and with the holidays fast approaching, the Food Pantry is seeing an increased amount of traffic. More and more families and individuals in the Township are having to rely on this vital community service in order to make ends meet. We need the help of generous residents in the Township to keep the Food Pantry going.
Donations of non-perishable, non-expired food items are accepted and can be dropped off at the following locations around the community:
- Riverside Town Hall (27 Riverside Rd.)
- Riverside Public Library (1 Burling Rd.)
- Riverside Public Works (3860 Columbus Blvd.)
- Riverside Parks & Rec (43 E. Quincy St.)
- Riverside Foods (48 E. Burlington St.)
The Township will also accept monetary donations in cash or with a personal check. Please make checks payable to the “Riverside Township Food Pantry”. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Township Office or mailed to: Riverside Township Food Pantry, 27 Riverside Road, Riverside, IL 60546.
